Teachers: Ibraaheem bin Sa’d az-Zuhri, Ibraaheem bin Sulemaan Abu Ismaa’eel al-Mu’addab, Ibraaheem bin Sulemaan, Ismaa’eel bin Ulayyah, Ja’far bin Sulemaan ad-Duba’ee, Hammaad bin Zayd, Abu al-Ahwas Sallaam bin Sulaym, Shareek al-Qaadhi, Abdullah bin Ja’far bin Najeeh al-Madeeni the father of Ali al-Madeeni, Muhammad bin Thaabit al-Abdi, Abu Awaanah al-Waddaah bin Abdullah al-Yashkari, Abdullah bin al-Mubaarak, Yazeed bin Zuray’ and others.

Opinions of Ahl ul-Jarh wat Ta’deel:

Those who praised him:

1-    Imaam Yahya bin Ma’een (D. 233) said:

ليس به بأس
“There is nothing wrong in him”
[ Al-Jarh wat Ta’deel by Ibn Abi Haatim (2/39), Al-Ilal by Abdullah bin Ahmed (3857)]

In another place, Ibn al-Junayd asked Imaam Yahya bin Ma’een about Haarith an-Naqqaal and Ahmed bin Ibraaheem al-Mawsali, so he said:

ثقتان، صدوقان
“They both are Thiqah Sadooq”
[Su’aalaat Ibn al-Junayd (119)]

2-    Imaam Ibn Hibbaan (D. 354) mentioned him in Kitaab ath-Thiqaat (1/2)

3-    Imaam Shams ud-Deen adh-Dhahabi (D. 748) said:

الإمام، الثقة
“He is Imaam, Thiqah”
[ Siyar A’laam al-Nabula (11/35)]

4-    Haafidh Ibn Hajar al-Asqalaani (D. 852) said:

صدوق
“Sadooq”
[ Taqreeb (1)]

None

Conclusion:

Ahmed bin Ibraaheem is Thiqah Sadooq.
