الثقة المأمون
“Thiqah Ma’moon”

3-    Imaam Abu Abdullah al-Haakim al-Neesaaboori (D. 405) said:

هو محدث عصره بلا مدافعة حدث في الإسلام ستا وسبعين سنة وأذن سبعين سنة على الصلوات الخمس حسن الخلق سخي النفس لا يختلف في صدقه وثقته وصحة سماعاته
“He is the Muhaddith of his era unmatched…… there is no dispute in his truthfulness, his trustworthiness, and the authenticity of his samaa’s”

4-    Imaam Ibn Abi Haatim ar-Raazi (D. 327) said:

بلغنا أنه ثقة صدوق
“It has reached us that he is Thiqah Sadooq”

5-    Imaam Abu al-Waleed al-Baaji (D. 474) said:

ثقة مشهور
“Famous Thiqah”

6-    Imaam Ibn al-Atheer (D. 606) said:

أحد الثِّقَات المكثرين
“He is one of the Thiqah abundantly narrating narrators”
[ Al-Lubaab fi Tahdheeb al-Ansaab by Ibn al-Atheer (3/235)]

7-    Haafidh Ibn Katheer ad-Dimashqi (D. 774) said:

كان إماما، ثقة، حافظا، ضابطا، صدوقا، دينا
“He was an Imaam, Thiqah, Haafidh, Preserver, Truthful, and Devout”

8-    Imaam Shams ud-Deen adh-Dhahabi (D. 748) said:

الإمام، المحدث، مسند العصر، رحلة الوقت
“Al-Imaam al-Muhaddith, Musnid al-Asr, Rihlat ul-Waqt”

9-    Allaamah Jalaal ud-Deen as-Suyooti (D. 911) said:

الإمام المفيد الثقة محدث المشرق
“Al-Imaam al-Mufeed, Thiqah, Muhaddith of the east”
