Those who praised him:

1-    Imaam Muhammad bin Sa’d (D. 230) said:

وَكَانَ ثِقَةً كَثِيرَ الْحَدِيثِ
“He was Thiqah Katheer ul-Hadeeth”
[ Tabaqaat al-Kubra by Ibn Sa'd (1/233)]

2-    Imaam Yahya bin Ma’een (D. 233) said:

ثِقَةٌ
“Thiqah”
[ Taareekh ad-Daarimi (884)]

3-    Imaam Ibn Khuzaymah (D. 311) narrated from him in his Saheeh.

4-    Imaam Ibn Hibbaan (D. 354) mentioned him in Ath-Thiqaat (1/2) and also narrated from him in his Saheeh

5-    Imaam Abu Abdullah al-Haakim al-Neesaaboori (D. 405) authenticated several of his narrations in Mustadrak ala as-Saheehayn.

6-    Imaam Abu al-Hasan ad-Daaraqutni (D. 385) said:

يحيى وأبوه عباد ثقتان
“Yahya and his Father Abbaad both are Thiqah”
[ Su'aalaat al-Barqaani li'd-Daaraqutni (537)]

7-    Imaam Shams ud-Deen adh-Dhahabi (D. 748) said:

ثقة
“Thiqah”
[ Al-Kaashif (6190)]

8-    Imaam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalaani (D. 852) said:

ثقة
“Thiqah”
[ Taqreeb (7575)]

Conclusion:

Yahya bin Abbaad is Thiqah by consensus.
