him in al-Majroheen and said: “He is from the
best of the worshippers of Allaah (and) from those who shed tears during the
night in privacy and stand (in prayer) (even) in (severe) colds, (and) he is
among those who got negligent of the art of hadeeth and its preservation; he
got busy with Ibaadah and its Asbaab until he started altering the Kalaam of
Hasan (al-Basari) and making it to be from Anas from the Messenger of Allaah (peace
be upon him) while he himself did not know; when his narrations grew plenty
which were not from the hadeeth of Anas and other people from the Thiqaat, then
taking evidence from him became invalid. Thus it is not permissible to take
narrations from him…”

1- Imaam Abu Haatim ar-Raazi said: “He
is a preacher (who) sheds tears, he has a lot of narrations from Anas in which
something is fishy (Feehi Nadhar), he is a companion of Ubaadah and there is
proficiency in his narration”

2- Imaam Ibn Adee said: “Yazeed
ar-Riqaashi has Saalih narrations from Anas and others, and we hope there is nothing
wrong in his narrations narrated by Thiqah people from Basrah, Koofah and
others.”

Conclusion:
Yazeed bin Abaan is severely
weak and Matrook in hadeeth
