Those who praised him:
1- Imaam al-Bazzaar said: “There is
nothing wrong in him, he is not strong”

nothing wrong in him, and there is weakness in him”

3- Imaam Ibn Adee said: “I hope
there is nothing wrong in him”

4- Imaam al-Haakim authenticated his hadeeth saying: “The chain of this hadeeth is Saheeh”

5- Al-Busayri authenticated his hadeeth saying: “Its chain is Hasan”

7- Imaam Ibn Hibbaan said: “He
commits a lot of Mistakes, makes grave errors, so when he started doing this a
lot in his narrations, taking evidence from his reports became invalid”

ad-Du’afa wal Kadh-dhaabeen

9- Imaam Abu al-Hasan ad-Daaraqutni mentioned him in ad-Du’afa and
said: “Error is dominant in him”

Contradictory Opinions:
The following opinions
contradict another opinion of the same Muhaddith; therefore, they become
neutral.
1- Imaam Yahya ibn Ma’een said in one narration: “He is not strong”
[Su’alaat Ibn
Tahmaan: 1/41]
At another
place, he said: “He is Da’eef”
[Du’afa
al-Ukaylee: 3/487; Taareekh Ibn Abi Khaythamah: 2/238; Al-Jarh wat Ta’deel:
7/139]
Whereas in
another narration, he said: “He is Thiqah”
[Taareekh Ibn
Ma’een, narrated by ad-Daarimi: 1/191]
2- Haafidh Ibn Hajar al-Asqalaani said: “His hadeeth is of the level of Hasan”
[Al-Qaul
al-Musaddad: 1/30]
At another
place, he said: “He is Da’eef”
[Taqreeb: 5546]
Conclusion:
Qaza’ah bin Suwayd is Da’eef
ul-Hadeeth according to the Jumhoor. Shaykh Al-Albaani said: “He is weakened by Jumhoor”
