Note: The authors of Tahreer Taqreeb at-Tahdheeb said: “He is Thiqah”

1- Imaam Bukhaari said: “He sometimes opposes in hadeeth”

2- Imaam Abu Haatim ar-Raazi said, I asked (Imaam) Duhaym about
him, whether you like him better or Waleed bin Mazeed? He said: “Ibn Abi
al-Ishrayn is more beloved to me” I said: “Is Ibn Abi al-Ishrayn a man
of Hadeeth? Thus he glanced at me i.e. (indicating) No!”

3- Imaam Abu Haatim ar-Raazi said: “He was not a man of Hadeeth”

reported to have said: “He is not strong”

5- Imaam Nasaa’ee said: “He is not strong”

6- Haafidh Ibn al-Jawzee mentioned him ad-Du’afa wal Matrokeen
[2/85 T. 1824]
Conclusion:
Abdul Humayd bin Abi al-Ishrayn
is Thiqah, Hasan ul-Hadeeth according to the Jumhoor.
