3-    Imaam Khateeb Baghdaadi said: “He is Thiqah, he authored Al-Musnad”

4-    Imaam Dhahabi said: “He is Thiqah from the Kibaar Aimmah”
[Taareekh al-Islaam: 6/47 T. 96]

He also said: “He is al-Haafidh ath-Thiqah al-Allaamah”
