1-    Imaam Abu Haatim ar-Raazi said: “He is Sadooq”

2-    Imaam Ibn Hibbaan mentioned him in Kitaab ath-Thiqaat

3-    Imaam Khateeb Baghdaadi said: “He is Thiqah, he authored Al-Musnad”
[Taareekh Baghdaad: 7/390 T. 3343 - Bashshaar]

4-    Imaam Dhahabi said: “He is Thiqah from the Kibaar Aimmah”
[Taareekh al-Islaam: 6/47 T. 96]

He also said: “He is al-Haafidh ath-Thiqah al-Allaamah”
