2- Imaam Yahya ibn Ma’een said: “He is Thiqah”

Imaam Yahya
ibn Ma’een is said to have once asked about the chain of Bahz bin Hakeem from
his father from his Grandfather, so he said: “This chain is Saheeh”

3- Imaam Abu Zur’ah ar-Raazi said: “He is Saalih but is not
famous”

narrations, and do not take evidence from him”

8- Imaam Ibn Adee said: “And I hope there is nothing wrong in
his narrations, and I do not know anyone from the Thiqah people who opposed him
in narrating, nor do I know any Munkar hadeeth from him, and I hope when a
Thiqah person narrates from him, there is nothing wrong in his hadeeth”

9- Imaam Ibn Hibbaan said: “He makes a lot of mistakes, as for
Ahmed bin Hanbal and Ishaaq bin Ibraaheem then they have taken evidence from
him and narrated from him; and a group from our Aimmah has abandoned him. Had
he not narrated the hadeeth ‘We will take it, and half of his camels, as one of
the rights of our Lord [See, Al-Nasaa’ee: 2444]’ I would have entered him among
the Thiqah narrators, and he is among those concerning whom I have prayed
Istikhaarah asking Allaah for guidance”

graded his hadeeth saying, “Saheeh ul-Isnaad”

He also said: “He
is among the Thiqah narrators”
